How do you choose the schools?For 2020, The Good Rural identified 189 schools across California that qualified for funding, based on socioeconomic data such as unemployment rate, teacher salaries, student literacy and math proficiency, geographic distance from city centers, and other factors. |
How do you distribute products/donations?Typically, we host virtual donation drives via YouGiveGoods, a charitable giving platform. Donations are transferred or shipped directly to the recipient organizations, approximately 15 business days after the drive end date. |
How do I donate?Follow The Good Rural on YouGiveGoods, our primary donation platform. Periodically throughout the year, we may also host virtual school supply drives on Amazon and we use PayPal to receive electronic donations. |
